Restless Heart
September 09, 2018, by Notes by Tine
Found this poem I wrote way back 2015. Although I may have altered a little while I was listening to The Carpenter's Album on a Sunday Afternoon. Before anything else, let me leave you something to start with: Love is a gamble and a choice. But in any situation, never be afraid to put your well-being above all no matter how many excuses you have constructed for you to abide misdemeanor.
Restless Heart
I refuse the reality
A flux I must know to acquiesce
The sun dunned, setting in silence
Parting shrouded miscellanies
My gentle heart pinned on my sleeve
A tale I waited for so long
Fastened by his hasty existence
What I believed to grip and hold
My eyes began to cascade tears
Beneath the sheets I lay at night
Vigorously searching for breath
His subtle kiss at once belied
I roused from my reckless soul
My love is a profound abyss
He can never call it his home
So I can rest my heart at ease
